Adult Life & Small Groups

Weekly and on Sunday mornings, we offer an assortment of both Life Groups and mid-week Small Groups. We have a number of Life Groups meeting on Sunday mornings during what we call First Hour. First Hour is dedicated to offering relevent and challening classes for our entire church family. Our current Sunday class offerings are listed below:

 

Lessons on Assurance consists of thirteen life-changing studies and memory verses for new Christians and for those desiring to grow in Christ and revisit the basics. The study is very comprehensive and covers such topics as assurance of salvation, assurance of answered prayer and assurance of forgiveness. If you want to be grounded in your faith, then don’t miss this one! This class will meet in Room 4 of the south wing. Taught by Loretta Gregor.

The Locker Room: It’s a ministry for guys! Life comes at you fast these days. In a fast paced world filled with all kinds of distractions, guys become easy targets. In this class, we’ll deal with guy’s issues like temptations, toys and tools! We’ll look at what God has to say to guys and the importance of their role as leaders. We’ll be challenged to grow to become the kinds of men God wants us to be! Hope you’ll join us! This class meets in Pastor’s office. Taught by Frank Payan.

Marathon: Marathon is our senior class. In this class the topic will be Called and Accountable. It’s overwhelming to realize that the God of the Universe has chosen to call every believer to a closer relationship with Himself. It’s a truth found on almost every page of the Bible. In this class we’ll discover those truths as we journey to be more like Him. This class meets in the Bridge Café.

Discovery: We are studying the puzzle of the seven heads written about in Revelation chapter 12. Many clues to the solution to this puzzle come from the Old Testament as well as the New Testament. Solving this puzzle leads to an understanding of the terrible future the unsaved world faces. Hope you’ll join us! Meets in Room 3 of the south wing. Taught by Dave Wisner & Ray Johnson.

NextGen ~ Senior High and College: This class will focus on the unique needs of both High School and College students. It’s a big world out there filled with uncertainties and challenges. In this class we’ll focus on equipping students with the spiritual skills they will need to move confidently into the future. This class meets in Room 5 of the south wing. Taught by Anthony Linebaugh

Jr. High ~ 7th-8th grade meets in Room 9. Janet Ascencio is teaching, assisted by Dave Clark, Anthony Wise & Pam Farley.

Bridge Kids ~ For kids 1st through 6th grade in Room 2. Sharon Payan is teaching First Hour.

Toddler Church ~ 3 years through Kindergarten. Lori Wilson and Grace Ashaolu teach First Hour, Room 7.

Nursery for 2 years and younger in Room 1 (both hours).
